The Santa Claus Foundation exists to spread the timeless magic of Christmas throughout Southwest Ohio and the Miami Valley. We believe that the spirit of Santa Claus — generosity, kindness, and joy — should not be confined to a single season, but should inspire us to give, engage and care for one another all year round.
Our foundation actively invests and supports the local community with the goal to unite other Santa performers, local businesses, volunteers, and families across Dayton, Springfield, Middletown, Hamilton, and surrounding communities in a shared mission: engage the lonely, bring smiles to children, support those in need, and keep the wonder of Christmas alive in our region.
The Santa Claus Foundation is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit dedicated to strengthening communities throughout Southwest Ohio through the spirit of giving. We coordinate volunteer Santa appearances at hospitals, retirement homes, senior living centers, shelters, and community events. We connect local businesses with meaningful charitable opportunities. And we support families in need during the holiday season and beyond.
Our founders come from a background of healthcare—nursing and emergency medicine. We understand firsthand the dedication of those who care for others, and we see the need to engage and uplift both patients and caregivers alike. Mrs. Claus herself is a longtime emergency department nurse, bringing compassion and understanding to every visit.
Our core values are engagement, generosity, authenticity, community, and joy.

Santa and his elves visit hospitals and senior centers to bring gifts and cheer to those spending the holidays in care.

Our Santa Community connects professional Santa actors across Southwest Ohio & the Miami Valley — providing training, networking, and a supportive community of performers who take pride in their craft.
